ON seeing the front page of The Citizen last week I thought the Wild West had come to town.
Alas the quislings of Downing Street are to the fore reviling the very people who are proud of their birthright. No matter how many dirty tricks the Government of the country pull, they will have to face the people eventually and say yes, we will stop immigration.
I am still waiting for Tony Blair to explain to the people who shut William Hague's mouth and three other MPs at the last election when they wanted to discuss the problem of immigration.
To me democracy has died in this country, and I sincerely hope the people will see the devastation it is inflicting on the nation.
Party politics must take its share of the blame.
