COPIES of the BEN's petition to save Bolton Magistrates Court can now be signed inside the Market Hall.
A special promotional stall, pictured left, was launched in the complex at the weekend as Bolton Town Centre Company took up the fight to save the historic courthouse in Le Mans Crescent. The stall will be staffed during office hours throughout the week.
An appeal for store and shop owners to consider stocking copies of the BEN's campaign will also appear in the Town Centre Company's next monthly security newsletter.
Staff at a host of other town centre shops will also back the BEN's mounting campaign by signing copies of the petition.
Magistrates' chiefs have called for the signatures of 20,000 people to help stop the town's courthouse from closing by December.
