Wanderers will take on the old enemy in the next round of the FA Cup - provided they overcome Spurs.
Tranmere Rovers, who were something of a nuisance side for Wanderers when both sides were in the First Division have been drawn to come to either the Reebok or White Hart Lane in the fifth round.
John Aldridge, however, who was involved in a few niggly moments of controversy with both Sam Allardyce and, before him, Colin Todd, is not around any more but under new manager Dave Watson, Rovers have overcome a poor start to their Second Division campaign and are now beginning to pick up good results.
Full draw:
Tottenham or WANDERERS v Tranmere
Newcastle v Manchester City (Sun, BBC1, 7pm)
Arsenal v Gillingham or Bristol Rovers
Chelsea or West Ham v Preston (Sun, Sky, 4pm)
Middlesbrough v Blackburn
Everton v Crewe (Sun, BBC1, 1.30pm)
Walsall v Fulham (Sat, Sky TV, noon)
West Brom v Cheltenham
Ties to be played weekend of February 16/17
