GLENN Hoddle has talked about his nightmare run of injuries ahead of tonight's FA Cup fourth round clash with Wanderers at White Hart Lane.
Mauricio Taricco has joined Spurs' ever-growing casualty list and Hoddle told the Spurs' official website - www.spurs.co.uk - that the wing-back suffered a ricked neck in Saturday's defeat at Derby County and will not be fit in time for the fourth round clash at the Lane.
His untimely knock means Glenn is now without six defenders with Stephen Carr (knee), Goran Bunjevcevic (thigh), Gary Doherty (broken leg), Christian Ziege and Anthony Gardner (both knee) all still out.
Les Ferdinand (neck) also remains a big doubt although there was a glint of light on the 14-goal striker.
"Tano's out and Les is still struggling," confirmed Glenn. "He has been training, he's had three days, but he's been out for a while now.
"He's headed the ball today for the first time and the last time that happened he had a reaction to it. We'll have to look at that in the morning."
Better news sees German wing-back Christian Ziege, out since January 12, making a return to training. He has been resting after picking up a knee problem.
"Christian now needs a solid week of running and football work," said Glenn.
Ten players are now out including the six defenders and Ferdinand, Chris Armstrong (hernia), Stephen Clemence (groin) and Steffen Freund (knee),
"Goran, Carry and Clem are all getting closer," added Glenn. "Doc has a little way to go yet and Steffen Freund is out until the summer. It's been a bit of a nightmare really."
