NEW access roads will be built at a Little Hulton housing estate if planning permission is granted.
The housing services department wants to remove some grass verge in four places at Wicheaves Crescent in Gibson Lane and Longshaw Drive to make room for individual driveways.
Three letters of objection have been sent to the council from residents who were worried that one drive would be on a dangerous bend, that the changes would encourage more traffic, and that the drives would look worse than the grass verges.
The plan will go to Salford Council's planning and transportation regulatory panel on Thursday.
