A GOOD Samaritan who claimed he had been kidnapped and robbed in Cheshire after stopping to help a couple in distress has been revealed as a fake.
Taxi driver Wayne Sadiq told police he had been driving along the A500 near Nantwich when he stopped to help a couple and was kidnapped.
Sadiq, of Willaston, retracted his allegations, police said.
