THE first meeting for the East Bolton Regeneration Business Forum will take place on Monday, February 11, at Tonge Cricket Club, Crompton Way -- 6pm for a 6.30pm start.
The event will launch a major marketing initiative for all businesses in the East Bolton Regeneration area by providing a comprehensive FREE website development opportunity for all participants in the Business Forum.
Business adviser Ted Martin said: "The programme will deliver a
strategic objective so that companies have the opportunity to promote their goods and services over the Internet.
"If you are a retailer, what is better than having customer's orders in your in-tray when you arrive at work?
"We have funds available to get any business in East Bolton started on the world wide web."
Andrew Ratcliff, Chief Executive of Bolton & Bury Chamber, said: "This meeting is being generously hosted by Multi Media Machine, a division of the MMM Group, who also support the Bolton Information Network. Attendees at the forum will receive a presentation on how they can either simply build their own website or access technical help.
"There is no requirement for any programming skills and up to 10 web pages with links to other sites will be available."
