ARMED robbers struck at a shop in Hindley.
Police were called to Long Lane Stores just after 8.30pm last night.
Two men, both wearing balaclavas went into the shop armed with a machete. One of the men threatened the two staff inside and forced them into the back room while the other man stole a small amount of cash from the till.
The men then ran off towards Alders Green Road.
The man with the machete was white aged 20/30, approximately 5'10" wearing a dark blue top with horizontal stripes.
No one was injured during the incident.
