FREDI Kanoute will return to action at Bolton this weekend after missing the FA Cup defeat by Chelsea on Wednesday.
A tweaked hamstring ruled him out and he explains:
"I think it is all right; it is just began to be a bit stiff so it was better not to play in the Chelsea game to be able to play on Saturday.
"I wanted to play in the replay, but that's life."
Fredi has missed several games with a hamstring problem this season and the club are naturally taking a cautious approach to prevent further damage.
So he was a reluctant spectator on Wednesday night, and says of the match:
"It was disappointing; we were very unlucky as they scored at the end.
"But we will look to put things right with a win on Saturday."
