A POST Office worker from Bolton stopped by police as he drove along a motorway was banned at the time, a court was told.
Asif Chana, aged 20, of Martindale Gardens, Halliwell, pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified and without insurance.
He was sentenced to an 80-hour punishment order, banned from driving for two years and ordered to pay £60 costs by Blackpool magistrates.
Police stopped Chana on January 7 as he drove a bronze-coloured Rover on the M55 at Wesham, near Preston.
In October last year, the defendant had been banned from driving for 18 months for an offence of no insurance.
