THE Queen will travel the length and breath of her kingdom during the Golden Jubilee celebrations -- but there are no plans yet for her to visit Bolton.
She will criss-cross the nation from May to early August, travelling as widely as possible.
In July the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh reach the North-west and will open the Commonwealth Games in Manchester.
The Duke will also visit Commonwealth Games sports venues and the athletes' village.
In Bolton people are shaming the rest of the country as they get ready to hold a right royal knees-up.
The town is topping the league of people holding street parties, with 220 organisers planning events.
Official organisers have said they are delighted with the town's response and urged others to follow its example.
"Bolton is playing a great national role, keep up the good work," said Bruno Peek of the national Golden Jubilee Summer Party.
To find our how it organise your own party and get cash from Bolton Council for it, ring the town hall on (01204) 333333.
The Queen's planned North-west visits so far cover two days.
When she arrives on July 24 she will visit the King's School in Macclesfield, and the Christie Hospital in Manchester. The Queen and Prince Philip will also attend a service celebrating Manchester's new City Centre at Manchester Cathedral and the Duke will open the Imperial War Museum North.
On July 25 the Queen will visit the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool and Prince Philip will present Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme Gold Awards at Bootle town hall. Further visits will be announced in March.
