A PARAMEDIC who went to the scene of a tragic motorcycle crash found the victim was his brother.
Jim Schofield was on duty shortly before rush hour last Friday evening when he and his colleagues were called to assist at a serious road accident in Hyde.
When he arrived he found that the motorcyclist, who had been involved in a collision with a car, was his brother, Paul.
Jim Schofield worked continuously to try to treat his injured brother but 39-year-old Paul, from Hattersley, later died in hospital from multiple injuries, Greater Manchester Ambulance Service (GMAS) said today.
