CHORLEY manager Ken Wright needs a morale-boosting win as he looks to put more space between his side and the UniBond First Division relegation zone.
The Magpies are currently 10 points clear of the drop zone but the team they face at Victory Park tomorrow, Belper Town, lie third from bottom but have three games in hand on Chorley.
"We have got to start winning football matches now," said Wright. "We have a strong squad that has been underachieving and we need to address that."
Chorley have lost their last two League encounters and slipped to a 2-1 loss to Spennymoor last Saturday.
"That was frustrating. We were 1-0 up but couldn't get the second goal to kill the game off.
"We were then always vulnerable and conceded an equaliser.
"We lost David Leaver (thigh) and Peter Smythe (groin) and that disrupted the midfield and they got the winner. On balance we should have had a draw but we would have been disappointed with that."
Leaver is still out injured but midfielder David Lowe is back after suspension.
Jamie Bates, a full back signed from Salford City last Friday, will make his home debut.
"Jamie filled in for Mick Wallace at Spennymoor as Mick had stood on a nail at work," continued Wright.
"He can play at full back or midfield and I was pleased with him. He has had Conference experience and he is a good talker. He should be a big influence."
