I WILL be taking a coach party of Normandy Veterans with friends and relatives to France between June 4-8 to mark the 58th anniversary of the D-Day landings.
We will be attending commemorative ceremonies, having a guided tour of the invasion area, visiting places of interest such as the landing beaches, Pegasus Bridge, Caen and Bayeux and also paying our respects at several of the Commonwealth War Grave Cemeteries. It should be possible to fit in any individual requests during the course of the visit. We still have a number of places available and it is not essential to be a Normandy Veteran to join our party.
If any of your readers would like further details, I will be happy for them to contact me at Nethergill, Great Asby, Appleby, Cumbria CA16 6EX or to telephone me on 017683 53941.
