SHIFT worker David Russell from Bolton left for work at 4am - after learning he had scooped £4.1m on last Wednesday's National Lottery.
David, aged 27, who lives with his parents, said: "When I got up I checked the numbers on teletext and just coudn't believe it.
"I told my mum and dad then went straight to work and managed to keep it to myself all day."
David, who works at Tesco, Chorley, plans to treat his mum to a belated 60th birthday present in style.
