A BURGLARY case was adjourned because the defendant needed to have an eye removed.
Bolton Magistrates were told Colin Norman Naylor, aged 31, of Cartmill Crescent, Bolton, was unable to attend the hearing because of a serious eye injury.
Naylor's left eye caused him to have severe migraines and that he was due to have the it removed in hospital, the court heard.
Naylor is accused of committing burglary on July 7 last year and threatening the owner of the premises.
The case was adjourned until February 21. Naylor was granted conditional bail.
