AN argument about New Year's Eve baby-sitting led to a man being bound over to keep the peace for 18 months.
Anthony Brendan Davies, aged 30, of Ulondi Street, Radcliffe, admitted a charge of criminal damage and one of a breach of the peace at Bolton Magistrates Court.
The court was told that Davies, an engineer, had gone round to his ex-girlfriend Lisa Boardman's house on December 30 to collect their daughter when the offence was committed.
Magistrates were told Davies had then forced the door open causing £50 worth of damage to the door frame.
Davies was fined £150, ordered to pay £50 costs and £50 compensation. He was bound over to keep the peace for 18 months for the sum of £250. A charge of common assault was dismissed.
