A MOTHER-of-six from Bury was cleared by Rochdale magistrates of assaulting another woman in a pub toilet and causing unlawful damage.
Catherine Calvert, aged 40, of Grassington Drive, Heap Bridge, had
denied assaulting Catherine Manning and causing criminal damage to a gold bracelet worth £100.
Calvert was alleged to have had a fight in The Royal George, Summit, Heywood, and to have slammed the toilet entrance door three times across Mrs Manning's hand and wrist.
However, after a trial lasting two days the bench found Calvert not guilty of both charges and the case was dismissed.
