STEVE Finch and Dave Heyes won the Men's Pairs (Watney Mann Trophy) in the Bolton Darts League in aid of the Bolton Senior Gateway Club for mentally handicapped adults.

In the final at the Moonlight Club, St George's Road, they beat Chris Gordon and Hitesh Mistry 3-0.

In the semi-finals the winners beat Mick Meanley and John Fletcher. In the quarter-finals they beat Craig Smith and John Tegland. In the semi-finals the runners-up Chris and Hitesh beat Grant Gordon and Darren Holden. In the quarter-finals they beat Tim Pennington and Brian Daniels.

Other quarter-final results -- Mick Meanley/John Fletcher beat Mark Lane/Tommy Jessop. Grant Gordon and Darren Holden beat Martin Lomax and Steve Cunningham.

In the Ladies Section Two (Moonlight Club, Friday) -- the leader is Shirley Holden by aggregate from Marian Heyes with Rita Heaton in third and Louise Bond in fourth. Tina Holden follows in fifth. Close behind are Alison Lomax, Pam Jessop and Lindy Shaw.
