WHAT has happened to the fighting spirit that Sam was supposed to have instilled into Wanderers?
I know the FA Cup is by no means a priority but getting into a winning habit would surely help confidence in the team. At the moment it is almost painful we are just shipping goals all over the place.
Since we got beat 6-0 in the Worthington Cup we have just gone to pieces, 5-1 defeat at Chelsea, 3-0 at home to Leeds, 4-0 against Man Utd! The team must be getting low in confidence yet Sam is quoted in the press as saying 'don't worry what happens in the Cup'.
Well I do. I am absolutely fed up of being subjected to this rubbish week in week out, the fact is we are going back down to the Nationwide League as we are way out of our depth.
Who is to blame, take your choice - a board that seems to be losing more and more money so Sam has nothing to spend at all, a manager that cannot seem to motivate the team at present.
I see relegation as an almost certainty now.
