SIMPLE Minds has announced its first UK tour for seven years to coincide with the first studio album since 1998.
Their 2002 tour will thrill fans with all the great hits including Don't You Forget About Me, Alive and Kicking, Sanctify Yourself, Belfast Child and Waterfront.
Fellow Glaswegians Jim Kerr and Charlie Burchill formed Simple Minds and played their first gig back in January 1978.
Over the past two decades the band has notched-up 25 million album sales.
They play at Manchester Apollo on Wednesday April 24.
