AN MP is demanding an urgent meeting with the Home Secretary after plans were revealed to house 350 asylum seekers in Manchester.
Graham Stringer says services in north Manchester cannot cope with any more asylum families.
The Blackley MP fears a repeat of violence which broke out when the first batch of asylum seekers arrived there.
About 570 asylum seekers currently live in the Harpurhey, Moston and Blackley areas of the city.
