IT is a true case of puppy love for Ashley Nuttall and her top dog Eddie who just cannot stop winning medals.
The 10 month old Staffordshire Bull Terrier has scooped top prize in all eight of the competitions he has entered, including best puppy and best dog in the show.
He has won trophies, rosettes, even two bottles of whisky and a crystal vase at competitions up and down the country.
Eddie, whose show name is Eddie Mighty Mac at Negraste is a black brindle with a white flash and he belongs to ten-year-old Ashley, her mother Cath Harrison and Cath's partner Neil Britton.
Neil's parents, Jo and Ralph Britton of Parsonage Road, Worsley 'show' Eddie. Mrs Britton, who has been the Secretary of the North West Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club for ten years says he is a joy to have around.
She said: "He is very friendly and has a lovely nature. He likes to go to the shows and it is obvious he likes to be there -- it shows. He is just a joy. Ashley loves Eddie and Eddie loves her. If her Mum goes to pick her up from school he cries if she does not get into the car. He is a beautful specimen of the breed."
