WEBSHAK Ltd -- the Horwich internet company founded by entrepreneur Boyd Lee -- is hitting the heights with a ground-breaking software solution.
The Winter Hey Lane outfit estimates that worldwide companies which use their pronto system have now pulled in orders worth more than £10 million.
The e-commerce marketing system puts companies' websites on the front page of the world's search engines 365 days a year.
Mr Lee, New Media Manager for Webshak, said today: "You sit just exactly where you need to be when people are looking for your product, but do not know your actual website address."
Webshak also hosts websites securely and with feedback from their numerous clients, as well as web statistics, it calculates that it has reached the £10 million pound mark of business orders generated through the new media.
"We have seen some of our customers grow by 100 per cent -- Webshak itself grew 800 per cent last year," Mr Lee said.
"The web is not going to go away."
The success of pronto has led webshak to launch a separate marketing company -- BORNBRANDED LTD.
Recent deals include the world rights to market Aquagwinva -- a Welsh mountain springwater.
Boyd Lee started the business in his Horwich bedroom while he was studying for a BA (Hons) in Business Information at Bolton Institute.
He was one of the first to benefit from the Young Entrepreneur Programme launched by Bolton Council and other companies and organisations in 1999.
