CHINESE NEW YEAR. Celebrate the Year of the Horse with a spectacular programme of events in Manchester City Centre. The day starts at 1pm with martial arts displays and the raising of the 120ft long dancing dragon in Albert Square, followed by a lively dragon dance procession along Princess Street to Chinatown and continues at 2pm with the Opening Ceremony with Chinese entertainers, special street stalls and fairground rides in Faulkner Street Car Park, Chinatown.
