Horwich Cricket Club's Nick Woods is to come under the eye of the world's leading wrist spin coach.
Terry Jenner, the ex-Australian international and mentor for Shane Warne, is travelling the country looking for the leading young wrist spinners. His visit forms part of the English Cricket Board's on-going wrist spin development programme, which aims to find and nurture future county and international leg spin bowlers.
He visits Old Trafford on February 22, 23 and 24 and Woods is seen as one of the county's brightest prospects. Joining the young Horwich player will be Mustafa Bilal of Blackpool CC and Liam Crilly of Northern CC, Liverpool.
The two most promising spinnners will be invited to the famed Australian Cricke Academy in Adelaide for two weeks of speciaslist copaching by Jenner.
