POLICE searching for a seven-year-old Bolton boy who went missing two days ago have found a body on a nearby golf course, police said today.
Greater Manchester police said Ryan Mason disappeared from his home in Great Lever in the early hours of Monday when he was believed to have been playing computer games.
Police launched a search of the area around Great Lever Golf Club at lunchtime where they found the body.
Local residents were asked to search their gardens and sheds.
The alarm was raised when police received a report that the youngster had gone missing at 11.05am yesterday.
Ryan is described as quite small for his age, and was believed to be wearing a dark green V-neck jumper and green pants with pockets on the side.
He has an occasional stutter, blue eyes, is of slight build and has short to medium length mousey hair.
