COLIN Hendry is expected to return from injury for Wanderers Reserves against Manchester United at the Reebok Stadium tonight (7pm.)
The second-string, who are top of FA Premier Reserve league table, hope to repeat their 4-2 victory at Bury's Gigg Lane earlier in the season.
The veteran Scot, who has been sidelined with knee and ankle injuries and lasted only 30 minutes into his third Premiership start of the season at Liverpool on New Year's Day, has his sights on a place in the squad for the game at Southampton on Saturday week.
The second string will also include new boy Gerald Forchelet - the 20-year-old midfield player signed from French club Cannes - plus Ryan Baldacchino and Emanuele Morini, who are also coming back from long injury lay-offs.
Wanderers Res: Poole, Hunt, Livesey, Forchelet, Hendry, Johnson, Baldacchino, Norris, Wheatcroft, Taylor, Downey. Subs: Niven, Viander, Ryan, Morini plus one to be named.
