JOHN Steinbeck's classic Of Mice and Men is being staged at Bolton's Octagon.
Set in the Californian agricultural belt in the depression of the late 30s, this fictional tale follows the hopes and desires of fast-talking George and his giant companion, the simple and childlike Lennie, as they talk of owning their own farm.
The play shows until February 23. Tickets are £5.50-£14.50 available from the box office on 01204 520661.
