BARRY Knight, the referee Wanderers fans love to hate, was at the centre of another storm on Thursday night.
Reading manager Alan Pardew launched a scathing attack on Knight after three players were sent off in the scoreless draw at Swindon.
The controversial Orpington official - infamous for his handling of Wanderers' promotion play-off defeat at Ipswich in May 2000 - sent off Swindon duo Alan Reeves and Paul McAreavey and Reading's Sammy Igoe.
"He wanted to be the star and that's what's happened," Pardew said. "We had him against QPR and he cost us two points and he's cost us again."
Swindon manager Andy King said: "It was a fantastic game but unfortunately, through decisions, it became a mockery and should never have ended with nine players against 10."
