MONSTER mad cinema-goers have given a Bolton cinema the busiest week in its history.
Around 23,500 people flocked to the UGC cinema at Waters Meeting Road, Astley Bridge, over the week-long half-term break -- and the new blockbuster Monsters Inc is thought to have been the big attraction.
Manager Richard Regan said: "This has been the busiest week since we opened three years ago.
"Monsters Inc, of course, is proving really popular, but we are also showing great films like Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter too, which are still going strong."
