AN 11-year-old boy escaped unhurt last night after being involved in a collision with a car just yards from his home.
Police say Christopher Auty, of Bradford Road, Bolton, stepped out between two parked cars in Bradford Road, near to the junction with Woodgate Street, at 7.20pm last night.
He was involved in a collision with a red Proton car and suffered minor injuries but declined hospital treatment.
Sgt Ken Carter, of Bolton Police Traffic Unit, said: "Youngsters should always watch what they are doing and be observant when crossing roads."
