FIFTY members of the Bolton Holiday Fellowship Walking Club went up hill and down dale in the Lake District at the weekend. They stayed at the Holiday Fellowship Country House, Derwent Bank, and took part in a series of walks led by the club's leaders.
The walks included Blencathra, St John in the Vale, Barrow and Grisedale Pike. They also took part in a quiz and did some country dancing.
One of the walks on the event, organised by club committee member Phil Hall, passed through the village of Stair.
The National Holiday Fellowship movement was founded there almost a century ago.
