WANDERERS, flying high at the top of Division One after beating Portsmouth 2-0 at Burnden, fail in a bid to sign Swedish midfielder Anders Limpar from Everton. Terry Fenwick tips Colin Todd's team for automatic promotion but his claim that his Pompey players "ran the second half" brings gasps of disbelief from the Bolton camp. Nathan Blake, who scored his fifth goal of the season in the weekend win, says: "I went to watch Grease on Thursday and that was amusing too!"
