TONGE Park Vets Bowling Club have a new look for the season - and now they want some more members to join them.
They have two teams in the Bolton Parks Vets League for over 60s and need an injection of new blood.
"We want players to either compete in the team or to play on a recreational basis. They can be of any ability," said a club spokesman.
There have been a number of significant improvements since last season with the green now fully enclosed with a two metre high fence which will enable the surface to be brought up to a more than acceptable standard and reduce vandalism.
The pavilion - open 12 months of the year - has been refurbished and is a hive of activity with dominoes, snooker and darts, regular activities.
The funding has come from Bolton Council's Voluntary Sector Grants Scheme plus club funds.
