SAM Allardyce is refusing to ease up in his quest to strengthen his survival squad.
The Wanderers' boss, currently checking out a number of continental trialists, is on the trail of Real Madrid centre-back Ramos Ivan Campo.
The 27-year-old defender, capped four times by Spain and with a wealth of Champions League experience, built his reputation with Alaves, Valencia and Real Mallorca before joining the Madrid giants
Campo is in his fourth season at the Bernabeau but is looking for a move after struggling to regain his place after injury earlier this season. According to sources in Spain, Wanderers are one of a number of Premiership clubs who have made enquiries.
