STAFF at Ramsbottom Library will be helping people to uncover their family history next week.
On Monday the first Family History help surgery will be staged at the Carr Street premises from 2pm-4.30pm.
A member of the local branch of the Lancashire Family History and Heraldry Society will be present.
Ramsbottom Library now have census records for the town and surrounding districts dating back to 1841 as well as records from local churches.
Future sessions will be held on March 25 and April 25.
