IN response to the comments made by Kirsty Adams on the BEN letters page February 12.
How dare she criticise the Bradshaw Ward Conservative councillors, and praise David Crausby MP for what he has supposedly done for Longsight School.
It is his Party that is closing it down!
Cllr Diana Brierley, Tony Osborn, and myself, have met parents, supported their campaign, and spoke on their behalf.
Personally I have spoken in council, and at the area forum meetings, with the governors and parents.
The Facts: --
Labour Education Authority proposes closure.
Labour executive member recommends closure.
Labour controlled Scrutiny agree to closure.
Labour councillors have advertised their intentions for the closure of Longsight School.
All Conservatives on the Bolton Council will continue to help in any way we can.
