Week 4
Crisps: none (vg)
Dips: none (vg)
Nachos: three nb (not bad)
Water: gallons (vvg)
Weight: 8 stone 10lb (vg)
IT is a month since I embarked on my new lifestyle.
That is four weeks of living off, not the fat of the land, but the lean.
Thirty days without crisps, takeaway curries and anything else I may have fancied.
But let us look at it another way. It is also 30 days of eating the healthiest of foods, drinking lots of water and exercising more than I have ever done in my life.
And it has certainly paid dividends.
Libby Denholm is senior health and fitness development officer for Bolton and explained why I feel so good: "Exercise is one of the best things for a person's wellbeing.
"Even in its most moderate form it provides untold benefits, but regular exercise is the best 'feel good' factor a person can get.
"And it doesn't have to be a workout at the gym -- a daily walk in the park will keep you fit and healthy."
