WITH regards to your article "Wanderers pay credit to the Travelling Fans" on Monday January 28.
What a Joke ! The day started at 8.30am when Travel Club coaches were ignored by our caring manger as he got out of hs car, even after the coach driver had tooted his horn three times.
BWFC have no spare cash and yet the players were flying down to London even though they have one of the finest team coaches in the Premier League.
We arrived at White Hart Lane at 1.25pm as the radio advised that there would be a pitch inspection at 13.30.
The pitch inspection was then put back as the Bolton team had not yet arrived.
When they finally did arrive, both radio and television reported that Glen Hoddle was prepared to play but our manager was not, so the referee called the match off.
We couldn't get off the coach but set off home and before we had left White Hart Lane, there were blue skies at 2.50pm.
So we have another night match, another two days off work to follow our team.
