FORMER Manchester United star Paddy Crerand today pleaded not guilty to wounding a 38-year-old man.
The 62-year-old, who was part of United's 1968 European Cup winning side, denied a charge of wounding with intent, and a second charge of unlawful wounding, at Manchester's Minshull Street Crown Court.
The charges relate to an incident involving Mark Taylor near Crerand's home in Sale on November 23. Crerand was allowed conditional bail and the trial date was set for May 7.
