THE VERY BEST OF ALL WOMAN -- Various
It may be cynically released just prior to Mother's Day, but for once, this compilation lives up to its name.
There are 40 songs, around 30 of which should be in everyone's collection, from artists as talently diverse as Annie Lennox and Geri Halliwell.
It includes some pop classics as TLC's Waterfalls, Bangles' Eternal Flame and Natalie Imbruglia's Torn alongside newer hits such as Dido's Thank You.
Many of the tunes will already be in your CD rack and some, like The Corr's Runaway, Shania Twain's That Don't Impress Me Much and M People's Search for the Hero appear quite dated.
But it's definitely one of the better compilations out there and well worth a look.
