Wanderers and Saints have one thing in common going into their six-pointer on the South Coast - TV pundit Mark Lawrenson has written both teams off.
Wanderers fans have famously issued an on-screen challenge to the former Liverpool star to shave his moustache off for charity if his repeated prediction that Wanderers go down is not correct.
However, he has also antagonised Saints, as chairman Rupert Lowe points out.
"Many pundits had us as favourites to go down at the start of the season, particularly Mark Lawrenson," he told the Southern Daily Echo's website.
"They said we'd never win at St Mary's. There were all sorts of scare stories about how leaving The Dell was going to cause us major problems and to some extent change does bring with it dislocation and upset that can bring with it loss of confidence.
"But we've overcome that and credit should go to Gordon (Strachan) and the team.
"They've been training more at St Mary's and it's beginning to pay off."
