A TOTAL of 18 pupils from Bolton School have been offered places to study at Oxford and Cambridge Universities next year.
They have been accepted on a wide variety of courses, ranging from Anglo Saxon, Norse and Celtic, to Medicine, Engineering and Modern Languages.
The students accepted by Oxford are: Krishan Chadha, St Edmund Hall, Physics; Rebecca Donnelly, St Hilda's, English; Tom Foster, Oriel, Maths; Michael Holmes, Lady Margaret Hall, Physics; Andrew Mullin, Exeter, Chemistry; Matthew Paddon, Open Award Chemistry; Tom Sawbridge, Brasenose, History; James Sherrington-Kendall, Magdalen, Chemistry; Richard Thatcher, St Anne's, Materials Science; Kate Turner, St Hughes, Modern Languages; Sarah Wardman, New College, Medicine; Chris Wilkinson, St Edmund Hall, Materials Science.
Cambridge has accepted the following Bolton School pupils: Vicky Baghdjian, Trinity, Anglo Saxon, Norse & Celtic; Mudit Matanhelia, Pembroke, Veterinary Medicine; David Pearce, Trinity Hall, Engineering; Jenny Stone, Emmanuel, Modern & Medieval Languages; Jack Sunter, Pembroke, Natural Science; Rhiannon Williams, Jesus, Geography.
