A MAN accused of the murder of a 61-year-old grandfather from Bolton will next appear in court on April 19.
Abdul Sanad Ganchi, aged 44, of Dijon Street, Daubhill, is charged with killing Ahmed Adia on February 11. He is also accused of assaulting Ismail Ali Adam, aged 49, also from Dijon Street, on the same day.
The case was brought before Manchester Crown Court for mention and was adjourned for a plea and directions hearing on April 19. Ganchi was not in court for the hearing and is remanded in custody.
Mr Adia died in an incident at the Khawaja Halal Meat and Chicken Centre in St Helens Road, Bolton.
