A TEAM of acoustic musicians and singers are hoping a charity for children in Chernobyl will cash in on their talents.
A concert, hosted by singer/songwriter Nick Jackson, will take place this Sunday at the Stag's Head, Wigan Road, Deane, starting at 2pm.
Organiser Annie Lovett said: "There has been an upsurge of interest in acoustic music events. We have already had several similar successful concerts."
Anyone who wants to make a donation to the Chernobyl Children's Lifeline, or give a raffle prize can contact Mrs Lovett on 01942 812804. Other musicians are welcome to turn up on the day and play.
