TALENTED members of Bolton music Service have pledged to practice regularly to raise funds for Sargent Cancer Care for Children as part of its UK wide Practice-a-thon.
The fund-raiser calls on music students to take up their instrument every day for a for tnight and get friends and family to sponsor them.
Instrumental director Keith Sagar said: "We could have as many as 2,000 musicians taking part in this area alone. Not only is it a good idea for charity but it's a good motivator for the students too."
