A BOLTON Euro MP has hit back at sceptics who claimed the euro currency would be much more difficult to use for blind and partially sighted people.
Chris Davies claims the new euro notes have been specially designed to take into account concerns raised by the new European Blind Union.
The Liberal Democrat MEP has suggested that thousands of blind or partially sighted Boltonians should now find it easier to travel in Europe and that they would benefit if the euro was introduced in the UK.
