MEMBERS of the Drama Workshop Youth Theatre of Bolton are in need of three ministers' "old style cassocks" for use in their forthcoming production of The Crucible.
The group will transform any cassocks donated into period frockcoats. Members, aged between 14 and 17, are working on two cassocks already donated.
After being used for the performances the cassocks will be available for other groups within the community, along with the remainder of the Youth Theatre's large collection of theatrical costumes.
The Drama Workshop Youth Theatre is non-profit making which has already raised £2,600 from previous productions. Money has been donated to Project Mustard Seed (a charity for Romanian Orphans), and National Kidney Research. The group hopes to reach its £3,000 target with the proceeds from The Crucible.
The play will be performed at Theatre Church, Astley Bridge, on April 8 and 9.
Anyone able to help should contact the group on 07931 337764.
