CHORLEY Lynx have moved smartly to snap up Super League player Lance Hamilton on loan.
The 22-year-old second row forward, who can also play at centre, has joined from after leaving reigning Super League champions Bradford Bulls.
Lynx coach Graeme West Said: "He was a highly-rated youngster, but he has has a short spell out of the game.
"However, we will take a look at him and see how he performs.
"He is a good size and, by all accounts, a powerful and aggressive player."
Hamilton joined the Bulls from Morley RU and played in their Under-21 side during the 2000 and 2001 seasons before being released at the end of last term.
Since then Hamilton has had a spell playing union with the Wakefield RU and he could come into contention for a place in the side for Sunday's clash with Leigh Centurions at Victory Park.
West is also moving to tie up former Huddersfield Giants and Leeds Rhinos forward, Nick Fozzard, on a loan spell from Warrington Wolves.
"Nick has his medical clearance now and is going full steam ahead in training," explained West.
"He should be ready to play with for us within the next four weeks."
